Policies

Age Restriction: Must be 25 years or older to rent.
Pet Policy: Up to two mature dogs allowed (pet fee required).
Check-In/Out:
- Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday during peak season.
- Early check-in (before 1:00 PM) is available for an additional $125.
Provided:
- Bed linens and bath sets
- Bedspreads and pillows
- Note: Blankets may not be included, so bring your own.
Not Provided: Paper products, cleaning supplies, or other indispensable items for your stay.
Restrictions:
- No smoking.
- Do not rearrange furniture or take it to the beach.
- Do not relocate or modify electronic equipment.

Cleaning Fee: $160.00
Pet Fee: $150.00 (for up to two medium-sized dogs)

Salty Dogs Welcomed

Up to two mature dogs are allowed with the following requirements:

Provide the dog's age, breed, and weight.
Dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and be on a current flea treatment.
Dogs must be fully house-trained and crated when left alone.
Dogs are not allowed on furniture.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs outside.

Cancellation Policy

Salty Dogs Welcomed

100% refunded before 60 days prior to stay
If cancelled between 60 and 14 days prior to stay, the 1st payment is forfeited unless week is able to be booked. Then full first payment minus a $150.00 admin fee is refunded.
If cancelled 13 days or less prior to stay, no refunds unless week is able to be booked. Then full first payment minus a $150.00 admin fee is refunded.

Posted Aug 27, 2026Great stay. Average family beach house without any pretentiousness. We had 4 adults w 2 babies. Front deck has gate to stairs. Great for enjoying with a small pool for baby. Host responded same day for a couple of minor issues. Hallway bath/shower does need to be updated. It’s usable but had to get creative for kids tub use. House is directly across the street from access, and that access was very steep. Discovered walking on that shifting sand with baby felt unsafe so walked 50 yards down the road to another access with stairs. The road in front can be busy at times. Just need to be watchful when crossing road, House is well stocked. Discovered pack and play and extra gate in a closet. Any beach item/toy you can imagine was in downstairs laundry room.

Posted Sep 23, 2026Great location for the price and right near everything in the area. Some areas on the deck need to be replaced but as long as you watch where you’re going it’s no problem and sitting on the deck was a highlight of the stay.

"Super clean house directly across from the beach. Ocean views & breeze. Beds are comfortable, quality linens, central A/C that kept the house comfortable during a heat wave. Fully stocked kitchen. "We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities of this property. We have a dog, and appreciated the gated deck so that the dog could hang with us on the porch. When we went down to see what was available for the beach, I found a great lightweight tent, corn hole set, boogie boards, chairs… even a charcoal grill with charcoals, lighter, and starter. The location was perfect—just over the hill to the beach. And the breeze off the water was amazing. The hot tub was the best in the evenings. Seriously, we had a really great time and loved every bit of the house!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Salty Dog! The proximity to the beach was great! Being next to John's was a plus! The hot tub was great; we enjoyed it nightly. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. The location was central and easy to navigate to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. The host was prompt with responses. We enjoyed the deck, where you could hear and see the ocean. We had a great time and recommend staying at the Salty Dog!"
